New website makes it easier to find great advice

Our new-look website is making it easier for clients to find information and news. It is also easier for those new to FMD to meet our advisers, learn about the advice process and fees, ask questions or book a first meeting.

FMD TV

FMD TV is your one stop shop for all our video content, including monthly investment market updates and our popular new Ask an Adviser series.

Insight

The Insight section contains a range of news and information, including handy guides like Understanding aged care costs and How to manage your Centrelink benefits online.

My Investments

The My Investments tab is where you can login to the FMD Client Portal to keep your financial documents safe and secure, or review your investments.

Helping people who are new to FMD or financial advice

We’re proud and appreciative that many of our clients recommend us to family and friends, so we want to make sure they have a great experience when they visit our website for the first time.

They can now read detailed profiles about each adviser, see Google reviews from other clients and watch videos about what to expect from a first meeting.

The new website has two forms those new to FMD can complete quickly to:

  1. Submit a query and one of our team will get back to them

  2. Talk to an adviser at an initial discovery meeting at no cost

If they are ready to book a discovery meeting, they can click on the orange TALK TO AN ADVISER button, go through the prompts and choose the adviser that has been recommended to them and submit a meeting request.

This is great for time-poor professionals who may not have the chance to contact us during business hours. They can jump on the website in the evening and receive confirmation of the meeting details the next day.

The discovery meeting can take place in our office or online from the comfort of home. It's all about convenient access to trusted advice.

Online investing

Underneath the Services tab in the main menu at the top of the website, you can find our Online Investing page.

This page explains how easy it is for anyone to start building wealth by investing in high quality ETFs via our online investment platform, Rev Invest. There are five tailored portfolios to choose from managed by the FMD Investment Committee (IC).

We get a lot enquiries from professionals under 35 who want to grow their home loan deposit faster or build wealth while renting long-term. Rev Invest is a great option for those investors and ideal for investing inheritances or other one-off windfalls. You can even set up an account in trust on behalf of a child who receives an inheritance.

For young professionals who aren’t yet ready to invest, but want to get smarter with money, we’ve partnered with the team at Flux Finance. On the same Online Investing page, family and friends of FMD clients can click on a link to download an FMD version of the app and get free access to powerful budgeting and credit score tools, as well as useful financial education videos, normally valued at $100.
